About FIT WELL FOUNDATION

Our background, vision, mission, values and the communities at the centre of our work.

Our Background

A community-focused organization for sustainable human development.

FIT WELL FOUNDATION is a humanitarian, gender-sensitive, and community-focused non-governmental development organization established in 2021, dedicated to the holistic upliftment of society at large by actively driving integrated rural community development across the underserved Bokaro and Ranchi districts of Jharkhand.

Founded through the passionate, joint endeavour of a group of visionary young social workers and intellectuals who travelled relentlessly from village to village—from dawn to dusk—to organize and motivate local populations, our organization has evolved from conducting grassroots awareness drives for farmers, women, adolescents, and youth into a highly structured, responsible institution committed to sustainable human resource development and community-wide health improvement. We operate on a deeply rooted, participatory development model that places vulnerable and marginalized groups at the center of every initiative, specifically catering to the urgent needs of working children, mothers, at-risk adolescents, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, backward classes, and socially segregated communities who lack access to essential public resources.

Recognizing that true social progress is impossible without addressing fundamental health disparities, FIT WELL FOUNDATION prioritizes the physical well-being and nutritional security of needy populations by conducting routine preventive health awareness campaigns, free medical checkup camps, hygiene education, and water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) infrastructure initiatives alongside targeted government scheme enrolment drives. Through market-aligned skill development, livelihood generation, and leadership training, we equip rural women and youth with the tools necessary to achieve financial independence and foster self-reliance within their own villages, thereby creating a resilient social safety net that breaks generations of systemic poverty. By acting as an effective catalyst for sustainable change, our foundation seamlessly bridges the critical gap between neglected remote populations and official developmental resources, working in close collaboration with local-residents, Panchayats, fellow non-governmental organizations, and government agencies to supplement local block/ district and state-level welfare programs and amplify community impact.

Under the leadership of Secretary Dr. Safi Niyaz Ansari, FIT WELL FOUNDATION adheres strictly to principles of absolute transparency, democratic decision-making, and unwavering accountability to our benefactors and partners, ensuring that all services, healthcare interventions, educational support, and livelihood/ employment and economic empowerment programs are delivered with complete impartiality, extending equal rights, dignity, and opportunities to every individual regardless of their caste, culture, creed, gender, or religious background as we continue to expand our operational footprint throughout Jharkhand.

Values We Cherish

At FIT WELL FOUNDATION, our work is guided by a deep-rooted commitment to human dignity, equality, and sustainable community development. The core values that define our culture and drive our daily operations include:

  • Human Dignity & Inclusivity: We believe every individual possesses inherent worth. We champion the rights of marginalized populations—irrespective of caste, creed, gender, language, or background—ensuring equal access to opportunities, resources, and a dignified livelihood.
  • Empowerment Through Self-Reliance: We do not believe in passive charity; rather, we build local capacity. By equipping women, youth, and rural communities with skills, health resources, and leadership capabilities, we foster self-sufficient communities capable of driving their own progress.
  • Collective Action & Participatory Approach: Sustainable change happens together. We active work alongside community members, local Panchayats, government bodies, and partner NGOs, ensuring that those affected by poverty are active leaders in crafting the solutions.
  • Integrity, Transparency & Accountability: We maintain the highest ethical standards in all our programs and financial stewardship. We are fully transparent in our operations and accountable to both the communities we serve and the partners who support us.
  • Social & Gender Justice: We are steadfast in our opposition to exploitation, discrimination, and systemic inequality. We actively promote women's leadership, child safety, and social equity at every level of our grassroots interventions.
  • Ecological Balance & Health Security: We recognize that long-term well-being relies on healthy ecosystems and healthy families. We promote sustainable environmental practices alongside clean water, sanitation, and preventive healthcare to protect future generations.

Our Vision

A resilient, self-reliant society.

To build a resilient, self-reliant society entirely free from hunger, illiteracy, ill-health, unemployment, poverty, and structural exploitation—a community where every individual, regardless of caste, creed, gender, or language, enjoys equal access to a dignified livelihood, social security, and basic human rights. Through organized collective action and grassroots community mobilization, we strive to achieve lasting socio-economic justice, empower marginalized populations to become self-sustaining, and foster long-term ecological balance and environmental stewardship for future generations.

Our Mission

Strengthen community-led organizations.

To facilitate and strengthen vibrant, community-led organizations across all levels of society that protect, utilize, and sustainably manage local resources.
